family room which sleeps up to five people. Each
room has an ensuite. There is a communal living
and dining area with an adjoining open kitchen
with facilities to cater for 16 guests. There is
also a laundry and storeroom with basic food and
personal items.
Members have first preference to bookings but
guests are very welcome. A referral from a member
is required.
Rooms
and Facilities

There are nine bedrooms at Yeti.
Some have twin beds, some double beds and some
have queen size beds. There is also a pair of
rooms which can interconnect, and can sleep a
family of five. The lodge can sleep up to sixteen
people in a range of combinations which will suit
most families or groups.
The bedrooms at Yeti have the following sleeping
arrangements
- Room 1 - 2 single beds
- Room 2 - 1 queen bed (with
interconnecting door to Room 3)
- Room 3 - 1 single bed,
plus 1 bunk of 2 single beds (ie, 3 single beds
in the room), with interconnecting door to Room
2
- Room 4 - 1 double bed
- Room 5 - 1 double bed
with single bunk above
- Room 6 - 1 queen bed
- Room 7 - 1 double bed
- Room 8 - 2 single beds
- Room 9 - 2 single beds
Each room has its own ensuite bathroom,
underfloor heating. Doonas and pillows are
provided. All you need to bring is sheets,
pillowcases and towels.
Regulations restrict the number of people that
can stay overnight at the lodge to 16. Although
the lodge has more beds, this regulation is
strictly enforced by the authorities. The extra
beds make sure Yeti has the flexibility to
accommodate different combinations of families and
guests very comfortably.
The image below shows the layout of the bedrooms
at the lodge.
Facilities
The lodge also has a communal lounge room, and a
large open plan dining room and kitchen. These are
very comfortable, with great views across the
valley in south Perisher.

During winter, skiers take advantage of the large
wet area to kit up or unpack after a day's skiing.
Immediately adjacent is a large and efficient
drying room, beside internal access to the
communal living areas.
The lodge also has a full laundry with a large
washing machine and dryer, free for you to use.
Storeroom
Yeti lodge has a storeroom stocked with a limited
range of emergency supplies (in case there is ever
that big dump of snow that traps you) as well as a
range of staple items, free for your use (eg, salt
and pepper, toilet paper, cleaning agents, etc).
Also available are a range of other items for
your purchase (on an honour's basis), to cover you
for those odd food and grocery items that you
might run out of during your stay. Click here to see what is
available in the storeroom.
If you have any suggestions on what else could be
included in the store, please let us know. Just
jot down your ideas in the Contact Us form and
send them to us now. Your suggestions would really
be appreciated.

basement layout at the lodge.

Lodge
Limit

are allowed to stay at the lodge at any one time.
