New Garbage and Recycling Arrangements

Starting this year, the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be providing waste collection, disposal, and recycling services for Perisher Valley during the winter season.

Garbage now needs to be placed in the NPWS issued garbage bags, and recyclables will need to be put in the NPWS issued recycle bags.  Cardboard boxes will need to be flattened before putting in these bags. The bags must be placed in the bins outside Yeti for collection before 9.00am each Tuesday and Friday.

PLEASE NOTE: Polystyrene boxes or containers cannot be placed in the garbage or recycle bags. As such, we prefer that they not be taken to the lodge. Please make sure that you, and your guests, do NOT bring polystyrene boxes or containers to the lodge. If they are, can you please ensure that you take them home with you.
